Ottawa, we’re building our Mambo teams.

Ottawa Mambo Kings — 1 Spot

We are looking for 1 male dancer to become the 5th member of the Ottawa Mambo Kings, our Mambo Shines performance team.

Mambo Shines • Musicality • Choreography • Performance

Mambo Kings & Queens — 5 Spots

We are looking for 5 female dancers to join the Mambo Kings and create our new Mambo Kings & Queens choreography team.

Designed for Intermediate+ / Advanced Amateur Salsa On2 dancers who want to train, develop, perform and represent Mambo in Ottawa.

Auditions — 8:30–9:30 PM

You don’t need to be perfect.

We’re looking for potential, rhythm, commitment, attitude and the desire to train.

6:30–7:30 PM — Salsa On2 Globetrotter Initiation • On1 → On2 Transition

You’re a tourist in the world of On2.

Maybe you already dance Salsa On1. You’ve seen Mambo, you’re curious about On2, and you’re ready to explore something new.

Globetrotter is your introduction and transition into Salsa On2 timing, rhythm and fundamentals.

7:30–8:30 PM — Mambo Aficionado Intermediate+ / Advanced On2

You’re social dancing more and more. You know patterns — but you feel like you’re stagnating.

You’re tired of huge, chaotic classes. You want structured, studio-based training where you can actually develop your dancing.

And you’re becoming more and more passionate about Mambo.

This is your place.

Mambo Aficionado offers an academic approach to Salsa On2 training with Victor Alexis, developing timing, technique, musicality, partnerwork and quality of movement.
