Our story
We are dancers who came together to solve a problem we all knew too well: finding the right dance, on the right date, in the right place should not be difficult.
Why we started
Existing event platforms were not designed around how dancers make plans. Dates, locations, styles and levels were scattered across feeds, stories and separate organizer pages. Important nights disappeared into the noise.
So we decided to build one reliable source for dance events—and go further. QoreBeat is becoming a community that values dancing and genuine connection, rather than attention, performance and endless scrolling.
What is in a name?
In salsa, the downbeats on 1, 3, 5 and 7 form a recurring pulse within the eight-count cycle. We call it the core beat: a steady foundation you can hear and feel beneath the layers of rhythm. That shared pulse is where our name begins.
The core of social dancing is the community. But the places we connect are scattered across social networks, websites and chat groups. Our goal is to bring it all together: one central place for dancers, organizers and events, so we spend less time searching and more time finding each other.
