Authentic Friday Milonga and Les Demoiselles du Tango Series at Cosy

Every Friday, the Montreal tango community gathers at Cosy for an authentic sociocultural event dedicated to the practice and transmission of Argentine tango. Enjoy a welcoming, structured environment where the codes of the milonga, musicality, and the embrace are shared in a spirit of respect and inclusion.

Special Event: Les Demoiselles du Tango

In September 2026, join us for a unique workshop series featuring legendary Montreal tango figures Allyson Manta and Karen Simon. This series focuses on the essential elements of dance: body awareness, partner connection, musical interpretation, and presence within the embrace. These sessions are open to all levels, from beginners to experienced dancers.

• Fridays at 8:00 PM
• Special Workshops: September 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2026 (held before the milonga)
• Regular Programming: Introductory class followed by a cultural milonga (guided practice)

• Regular Milonga: Members $12, Non-members $15
• Membership: Annual fee of $60 (promotional price of $35 available before July 30, 2026)
• Workshop Rates: $35 per session or $120 for the full series of 4 workshops
