Authentic Friday Milonga and Special Workshops with Allyson Manta & Karen Simon

Every Friday, Montreal's community of milongueros and tangueros gathers for an authentic sociocultural activity dedicated to the practice and transmission of Argentine tango. This warm, structured space promotes the codes of the milonga, musicality, and the embrace in a spirit of inclusion and collective participation.

September 2026 Special Workshops

During September 2026, pioneers Allyson Manta and Karen Simon host a special workshop series before the milonga. This program focuses on the core elements of dance—body awareness, connection, and musicality—rather than just accumulating figures.

• Levels: All levels welcome

• Pricing: $35 per workshop or $120 for all 4 sessions ($30 each); add $10 to join the milonga afterward

Weekly Program

• Time: Fridays at 8:00 PM
• Structure: Introductory class followed by a cultural milonga (supervised practice)
• Musicalization: Respecting traditional porteño customs
• Supervision: Missy & Santiago
