La Milonga authentique du vendredi à Cosy

Every Friday, Montreal’s tango community gathers at Cosy for a warm, structured milonga that blends an introductory class with a cultural milonga, and for the four Fridays of September 2026 a special workshop led by pioneers Allyson Manta and Karen Simon.

Program

• 8:00 PM – Introductory class followed by a culturally programmed milonga (supervised practice)
• Musicalization following porteño traditions
• Hosted and supervised by Missy & Santiago

Workshop (September 2026)

Four consecutive Fridays (Sept 4, 11, 18, 25) at 8 PM:

• Body awareness and organization
• Quality of connection with your partner
• Musical listening and interpretation
• Precision without rigidity
• Presence in the abrazo
• Subtle rapport that turns steps into tango

Admission

• Members: $12 per regular milonga night
• Non‑members: $15 per regular milonga night
• Annual membership card: $60 (promotional $35 before July 30 2026, may be required)
• Workshop: $35 per session or $120 for all four sessions (equivalent to $30 each)
• Add $10 to join the milonga after a workshop session
