Soiree Bachata

Join us for an evening of Bachata dancing designed to help you meet new people and build community in a relaxed, house-party atmosphere. All classes are beginner-friendly, and no partner is required.

Schedule

• 17h00: Beginner Bachata lesson
• 18h00: Intermediate Bachata lesson
• 19h00: Advanced Bachata lesson
• 20h00: Social dance

Venue

M Montreal Hostel, 1245 St Andre St, Montreal, Quebec H2L 3T1. Please ring the doorbell to enter and join us downstairs at the bar. Note that the bar is cash-only.

Admission and Registration

• $15: Class plus social dance
• +$10: Each additional class
• $10: Social dance only
• $10: Budget-friendly entry (available for students and the unemployed)

Event Guidelines

• You may bring your own food or snacks. Please do not bring outside beverages, except for water. You are welcome to bring a water bottle and ask for tap water.
• Wear flat-bottomed shoes with appropriate traction. Please avoid wearing winter boots containing salt, snow, or rocks.
• This is not a speed dating event. Please be mindful of social cues to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Inappropriate behavior will result in removal.
• Photos and videos are recorded at the event. Please notify the organizers if you do not wish to be included.
