Samedi Dansante – Saturday Dance Night

Come learn to dance and make friends at this casual, house-party-style dance evening organized by Petite Révolution de Montréal. Beginner friendly — just ask anyone to dance, and no partner is needed.

Program

Styles taught and danced include Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Merengue, Konpa, Cumbia, Blues and Tango.

Admission

• $15 — one class plus the social dance
• $25 — both classes plus the social dance
• $10 — just the social dance (also $10 for those with tight budgets, such as students and the unemployed)

Restaurant Le 514, 3509 Boul. Saint-Laurent, Montréal — about a 10-minute walk from either Metro Sherbrooke or Metro Saint-Laurent. Please support the local business and order something.

Good to know

• Please bring shoes with a flat bottom and not much traction. Please do not dance in winter boots full of salt, snow and rocks.
• This is not a speed dating event. Please exercise caution, read social cues, and make sure everyone feels safe and welcome. Anyone who is rough or sexually inappropriate will be removed.
