Jazz Hot Live: Back to School Ball with Spirit of New Orleans

Jazz Hot returns for the 2026-27 season featuring a special performance by Chris H. and the Spirit of New Orleans. Bandleader Chris, a veteran Lindy Hop dancer of nearly 20 years, delivers music specifically curated for the swing dance community. This event is organized by Danse Swing Canada and Studio 88 Swing.

Program

The evening includes three live band sets, social dancing, and demonstrations in an atmosphere welcoming to Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Charleston dancers.

• 19:15: Happy Hour, doors open, and social dancing. A chef-prepared drink special is available for $5 from 19:15 to 20:00.
• 20:00: Free beginner swing dance class.
• 21:15, 22:30, 23:45: Live band sets.
• Special Guest DJ: Guillaume Fabre.
