Soiree Salsa

Join us for an evening of salsa dancing designed to help you meet new people and build community in a relaxed, house-party atmosphere. Beginners are welcome, no partner is required, and everyone is encouraged to ask others to dance.

Program

• 18:30: Beginner Salsa lesson
• 19:15: Beginner/Intermediate Salsa lesson
• 20:15: Social dance and practice time

Venue

M Montreal Hostel, 1245 Saint-André Street, Montreal, Quebec H2L 3T1. To enter, ring the bell and head downstairs to the bar.

• The bar is cash only.
• You are welcome to bring your own food or snacks. Please do not bring outside beverages other than water.
• You may bring a reusable water bottle or ask for tap water at the bar.
• Please support local businesses by ordering drinks.

Admission and Registration

• General admission: $15 (cash or e-transfer to amandajeancampbell@outlook.com).
• Concession price: $10 (students, unemployed, etc.).

Community Guidelines

• This is not a speed dating event.
• Please be mindful of social cues and ensure everyone feels safe and welcome. Any rude or sexually inappropriate behavior will result in removal from the event.
• Photos and videos are taken during events. Please inform the organizers if you do not wish to be filmed.
