Soirée Bachata

Come learn to dance Bachata and meet new people. Our events are beginner-friendly and no partner is required—just ask someone to dance. We focus on building community in a casual, relaxed atmosphere, similar to a house party. Please support the local venue by ordering drinks.

• 18:00: Intermediate Bachata
• 19:00: Advanced Bachata
• 20:00: Social dance

Admission

• $15: One class plus social dance
• $10: Additional classes
• $10: Social dance only
• $10: Reduced rate for students and the unemployed

Location & Policies

Located at M Montreal Hostel, 1245 St Andre St, Montreal. Please ring the doorbell to enter and join us at the downstairs bar (cash only).

• Food: You are welcome to bring your own food, as the venue does not sell it.
• Drinks: Outside drinks are prohibited, though you are welcome to bring a water bottle for tap water. Please support the venue by purchasing drinks.
• Footwear: Please wear flat-soled shoes with minimal traction. Do not wear winter boots containing salt, snow, or rocks.
• Conduct: This is not a speed-dating event. Please be mindful of social cues to ensure everyone feels safe and welcome. Harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
