COIL – Dana Gingras (Animals of Distinction)

COIL by Dana Gingras / Animals of Distinction, presented by Agora de la danse. An intimate contemporary dance work performed by Caroline Gravel with live violin by Sophie Trudeau (Godspeed You! Black Emperor) and scenography by Caroline Monnet. Movement, memory, transformation and repair unfold around the spiral motif.

Four separate performances

November 4, 5 and 6, 2026 at 19:00; November 7 at 16:00 (America/Toronto). Duration: 55 minutes, giving scheduled ends at 19:55 / 16:55. These are separate shows, not one continuous multi-day performance. A free artist meeting follows the November 5 performance; its end is unannounced.

Official 2026–2027 standard rates: CAD 40 regular, CAD 34 reduced for ages 30 and under, 65 and over, or eligible professional association members, with proof. The two-show promotion expired October 24. Check current availability and conditions on the official page.
