Argentine Tango with a Guest Teacher from Buenos Aires

Cosy Montréal welcomes Gustavo, a guest teacher from Buenos Aires and its tanguero neighbourhoods, where tango is lived, shared, and passed down from generation to generation. The event is open both to those curious to discover Argentine tango and to dancers looking for something more natural, musical, and authentic.

The goal is to get closer to tango as it is experienced in Buenos Aires milongas: not learning figures to reproduce, but understanding how two people can truly dance together.

• Walking, musicality, and improvisation
• Technique directly applicable on the dance floor
• Practice after class to integrate what has just been learned

From the very first class, Gustavo works on the true language of social tango: walking, the embrace, connection, musicality, improvisation, and communication with the partner.

Level and participation

Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or more experienced dancer, you are welcome. Come alone or accompanied — no partner is required.
