Advanced Kizomba Classes – Magog

Advanced-level kizomba classes for dancers who already know the basics and want to take the next step.

Who it's for

For dancers who already have a grasp of kizomba fundamentals and want to keep progressing, including lead/follow exits, openings, shadow position, and the basics of connection, posture, and walking. A beginner class is also offered — see the end of the listing.

Program

Technique, connection, musicality, variations, and exploration of different elements of:

• Kizomba
• Urban Kiz
• Semba

The goal is not simply to learn new movements, but to better understand your dance, refine your basics, and become more comfortable in different situations on the dance floor.

Schedule

Saturdays, 2–4 p.m.: October 3, 10, 17, and 31; then November 14, 21, and 28; and December 5.

Location

84 rue Merry Nord, 2nd floor, Magog.

Admission

• $20, cash at the door.
• No registration required.
• Classes can be taken drop-in; following the series is still recommended.
• With or without a partner.
