What to expect

The 8th edition of the TEMPÉO festival takes place from September 16 to 20, 2026. Hosted by Philippe Fehmiu, this free event brings a variety of dance styles and musical performances to the heart of Montreal for five consecutive evenings.

  • September 17, 2026: Afro-house night
  • September 18, 2026: Cumbia night
  • September 19, 2026: K-pop night
  • September 20, 2026: Kompa night

Performances and Activities

The festival runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. Highlights include performances by Isabella Lovestory, Moonshine, and Boogát. Attendees can also participate in dance workshops led by industry figures such as Latin Groove Montréal and Alex Francoeur, with special programming to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Kompa.
