Soiree Bachata

Join us for an evening of Bachata dance and community building. Our events offer a casual, relaxed atmosphere, much like a house party, where everyone is encouraged to meet new people and dance. No partner is required, and beginners are welcome.

Program

• 17:00: Bachata beginner lesson
• 18:00: Bachata intermediate lesson
• 19:00: Bachata advanced lesson
• 20:00: Social dance

Admission and registration

• $15: One class plus the social dance
• +$10: Each additional class
• $10: Social dance only
• $10: Reduced rate for those on a tight budget (students, unemployed, etc.)

Venue notes

• Location: M Montreal Hostel, 1245 St Andre St, Montreal, Quebec H2L 3T1.
• Entry: Ring the doorbell and head downstairs to the bar.
• Bar: Cash-only bar available. Please support the business by purchasing a drink.
• Food and drink: You may bring your own food or snacks. Outside drinks are not permitted, though you may ask for tap water at the bar.
• Footwear: Please wear flat-bottomed shoes with minimal traction. Avoid wearing winter boots with salt, snow, or rocks.

• Atmosphere: This is not a speed dating event. We prioritize a safe, welcoming environment; individuals behaving inappropriately or roughly will be removed.
